Love this game and if your search the internet there is a 64 BIT INSTALLER allowing you to play / install it on windows 10 64 BIT :) great sound effects, little dated in movement when controlling the character but I use a 1990s CREATIVE COBRA game pad ( wish they still made them or I could find a backup, incase mine ever fails - far more comfortable and excellent button arrangement than the modern day 2019 standard ) .... so nice voice, nice sound effects, atmospheric landscapes and sounds and just one superb game ... LUCAS ARTS - GET YOUR FINGERS OUT YOUR BOTTOM and do what ROCKSTAR GAMES DO - REVISE THIS GAME and update it for modern day graphics cards, improve the movement of the character a fraction and upgrade the graphics to the lifelike realism of today , I will buy the game in a heart beat then .. I still own the original BIG BIG BOX release :) treasured next to worms armageddon, wild metal country and the 2003 THE HOBBIT!

I was browsing this website to check on some new games for my Win98SE machine and I learned that the game is on Steam and such now. AMAZING!

Don't be fooled by the score. This game is such a hot piece of trash the sun wanted to turn the AC up.
But if you can get past the insane amount of bugs and general issues, this is also a fantastic game that definitely deserves the score it got. It's not just the fact that back then this was insanely realistic (I remember fawning over the amazing textures), but it's also got a certain charm to it. The puzzles are pretty great too, remember to be patient with the combat and save those venom kits for the (terrifying) spiders. Just realize the year it came out and have fun. Trust me, something will go horribly wrong and you'll be laughing your butt off.

I tried to set up the game by using the x64 installer but the installer doesn't appear to recognize the disc, and why should it? Surely, someone must know how to configure the installation. I'd be grateful for any help.
