Sniper Elite (aka 狙击精英：柏林1945) is a video game published in 2005 on Windows by MC2-Microïds, Rebellion Developments Ltd., Namco Hometek Inc., Buka Entertainment, MC2 France, ak tronic Software & Services GmbH. It's an action and simulation game, set in a historical battle (specific/exact), shooter, spy / espionage, stealth, world war ii and regional differences themes.

A 'guilty pleasure' game for me; a few bugs, the basic character graphics, and the wildly inconsistent enemy AI don't put me off playing. I always found the sound design very effective, and some of the building textures hold up well. Back when I used to still run Windows on my PC, the game stopped working under Windows 7. I bought the game from GOG (Good Old Games), which was cheap, and worked under Windows 7. I can still enjoy it now under Linux, thanks to WINE.

One of the greatest WWII games I've ever played. I downloaded a trial version of this from somewhere years ago. The trial ends at the ammo dump mission, but there's plenty of action in other missions before it. I bought a copy from Steam and also another for a gift in 2015. I've lost track of how many times I've played.
