This used to run fine a few weeks ago, now when I open the application it opens up but it doesn't load. Any fix?

This game does run on modern windows 10, but you will have to use the 32bit version of windows 10 which can be installed as a VM. This game is a 16bit game and windows 10 64bit does not have the 16bit execution engine any more, but the 32bit version does. I have installed this on an old laptop with 4GB of ram running windows 10 32bit and it ran just fine.

For those of you with the "WING.dll not found" or ".DAT" file not found, follow this process:
Step1: download and extract the ISO version in the download selection screen. The extracted folder should contain an executable called "setup." Run this and confirm all installation decisions
Step2: download and extract the non-ISO version in the download selection screen. In that folder is the game's executable with a red "3" as it's logo, run this to play the game.

I'm getting the error of a missing WING32.dll. I've put the file in the system32 folder as directed but it's still not registering it when I try and open the .exe. Any tips to fix it?

We played this all the time at my elementary school and I LOATHED it! However, because I remember it I’ve been looking for it for years just to make sure it actually existed, and it does!

Joe, is the game running slow for ya? I had that problem myself, I had that problem myself. Not sure how I solved it, it was either getting my better laptop or just a bug that resolved itself after continued use.

anyone know how to fix the resolution

This was the program my school used to teach us how to type. I totally slacked off during these lessons, and that backfired, HARD. So after a decade of being shamed for not knowing how to type, I bought the disk for myself, played it in all of its nostalgic glory, finished the lessons, and now I type upwards of 40 WPM.

Whether you're a young child or a stubborn old timer, this game will keep you entertained through the hours you will need to put into it and help you stay socially acceptable in this digital age!
