I ended up deleting the game from my computer just in case, after I installed it my PC got weird (slowdowns and a blue screen a few days afterwards). I think it was a coincidence though.

Forgot to say that I downloaded the EN version, and that my Windows Defender didn't flag anything either.

Not sure about RU file. Admin noted that the autorun.exe in the Russian ISO is corrupt.

Hi, so, apparently the discs don't have autorun.exe (just autorun.inf).
I recommend you guys disable the autorun option on Windows just in case.

I scanned both CESetup.exe and setup.exe with Virustotal and Jotti and everything is fine.
Well, technically CESetup.exe got flagged by 2 antiviruses on Virustotal, but it seems like a false positive because the detections were from 2 programs I'd never heard of and which are not reputable. You can check it yourself.

As said before, it's possible the original game installer had some sort of browser hijacker that would change your start page.
I believe that MyAbandonware deleted the offending file and modified the ISO provided on the site, so you should be safe.

Anyways, thanks for the game, I'm finally going to play it after so long.

I think the game is safe, if there was an adware it might have been from the original installer. This happened sometimes with shovelware/budget titles.
I have to test the ISO properly however.

I double checked the ISO with malware bytes and indeed the autorun.exe contains a Win32/Startpage trojan which changes your browser homepage.

I have not installed the game because I'm scared of getting a virus if I haven't got one from this download already.

please can someone confirm that this game is safe, because it is possible that it's simply some kind of optional advertising included in the original games release.
