- The game works on DirectX 9, so if you're using Windows 8, 8.1, 10 or 11 - you need to enable DirectPlay: Go to Control Panel, and select 'Programs'. Select 'Turn Windows features on and off', click on 'Legacy Components' and check the box 'DirectPlay'. Select OK, once the installation is done, restart your computer

dialog, selectSettings
. Select theData Execution Prevention
tab. Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select". ClickAdd

Here's the guide with pictures how to add an app to DEP exceptions list - According to this thread, multilingual version works with no issues on modern systems, including Windows 10 & 11. Russian version of the game should work fine on Windows 10, but looks like it doesn't work on Windows 11, according to comments in this thread
- By default, the first time the game is launched, the games internal resolution and refresh rate are set to whatever your desktop display is currently set to, you can change the screen resolution in Options. If you want to run the game in a resolution and refresh rate not listed, you can manually configure these settings by editing the display size.txt file located in your game directory. Simply change the numbers that you see there with the width (in pixels) and height (in pixels) and refresh rate (in Hertz) you wish to run the game. For example, if you want to enable 1440x900 resolution with 75Hz refresh rate, you would delete the numbers in that file and replace with "1440 900 75" (without quotes)
- If you have problem with broken sound effects or disappearing sound - first try to change the sound settings. If it didn't work - set sound quality to 24 bit, 48000 Hz or 24 bit, 44100 Hz. Read this guide how to do that
- Demo version contains two scenarios developed specifically for the demo version. Demo version showed some adware warnings because of Battlefront.com ads in the installer, the file is safe to use
- Even though the game was removed from all digital stores, the official forum is still working, don't forget to check it if you have troubles!
- You can find some mods for the game on FGM website, also we recommend to check the official forum and search for mods there
