Sorry, again but when I click on R.U.S.E.exe I have a message error with "the code execution cannot proceed because MSCVP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fixe this program"
only Ruse.exe work
Really thank you for your work

Hello, is it necessary to have steam? because I would like to play without steam. I don't have it.
Thank you for your work!

My download speed is in KB/s. is this the same for everyone? any way to speed up the download

Hey, sorry for the question, but is the uplay rewards version safe? I was following the instructions, and using the .bat file, and it opened a cmd file. I understand it's meant to "hack" the steam file for the game, but I was just a little skeptical.

@Miguel Not sure if you can play as a Japan because I haven't played the game that much, only tested the first mission. But all DLCs are available in Delux Edition, check Readme inside the archive

@CyberLlama The game uses Steam emulator (basically "hacked" files of Steam), to make it work without the Steam. Make sure to check Readme inside the archive, it has the instruction how to configure the files for the correct work. If you want to play on Linux, I guess the best way would be to run the game on VM with Windows 7

Is there a way to play as japan? Or access the other DLCs?

CyberLlama 2025-07-04 2 points

I can confirm this doesn't work on Linux. Bottles gets an access violation, Wine tries to connect to Steam, and Lutris is trash by default so no point using that.

Is there a way to install this on Linux?
