Managed to get the AUTORUN.EXE to load the initial menu. After clicked 'Play' the window closes down. The Cat.exe doesn't open through shortcut or where file explorer.

Doesn't work without disc :( Unless I am doing something wrong? I run the AUTORUN file, install the game, restart my pc. Double click on the newly created 'The Cat In The Hat' shortcut - and get a 'No CD/DVD-ROM drive found.' error.

Please make the necessary modifications to this game to get it running perfectly with improved gamepad support, high video resolutions, widescreen and running without a damn disc. This download is outdated because no effort was made to make sure it runs without issues. I have had better luck emulating the ps2 version. lazy. the morons that provided this traveled forward from 2004 thinking it would work as is. did they not think that pc code has evolved since then?
