Oh, nice to see this game around, I have spend so many time playing this one with enjoyment. Yes, I know it's buggy, seems half-baked... But we all have at least one such game we love. The biggest L for me was shooting of PC, zero feeling, Neo points the guns somewhere else, and you never know if bullets connect with enemies or not.

Genuenly one of the worst released games :D Worth to try!! It is not unusable, but it has a LOT of problems regarding quality XD It was ugly even in 2005 XD But you can have some fun with it either way...

These are words to live by when It comes to game adaptations, said by the creators of The Matrix themself near the end before the new alternative ending starts which has Neo fighting a gaint Agent Smith made out of the rubble of the city after he says "This Is my city" Is epic, and worth going down The Path of Neo for.
Sure was a whole let better than Enter the Matrix.

Crack DOES NOT work with windows 11. It says disc is unreadable and needs to be re-formatted.

Questions are for some weird thing called the "PS2" when the platform on site is literally "Windows".

this game is great. the crack works and all the patches. turn up the rendering setting to max in the graphics options and put the aspect ratio to the highest. it runs smooth like butter

so... some of these comments really make me sad. How far the internet has fallen.
1) this is not a PS2 iso. This is an iso for PC.
2) to stop the game requesting the disk on launch; there is a folder on the iso that has a "crack" in it. This "crack" needs to be copied to the game folder & you need to overwrite the original executable. (pro-tip, figure out how to back up the original first so if you need to update it later for any reason (good habit))
3) on the iso you should find a .nfo file. open it in notepad.

I copied the Crack folder into the game dir, still asks for a disc. Tried with VCd control (Tricks XP into thinking you have a disc but you dont). Someone help please. Response email sp33dy.as@gmail.com

both versions satisfy me and bring me back to the old good days i want to thank this webiste owners so much for this heroic kind work and i hope they get paid soon for making us all smile ..the 655 mb version runs well but without voices..that explains the small size but the iso version is the full and it contains everything enjoy! :)

Yup got it working. The rar file is highly compressed, so all the sound(except for the dialogue) and the cutscenes(The movie ones) are absent. I also think that some files are corrupted that prevents the game from loading after a few levels(some actors file). The .iso version is the full version, with all the cutscenes and sounds, so download that one. As it is the installer the patches can be installed as well(I did not try this, but it should work. The game ran normally without the patch for me). Amazing game though- worth the download. Thanks abandonware :)

OK... I downloaded the 655 mb are file and the sound doesn't work. The dialogues work but the music and other stuff is not there. The game ran fine without any bugs whatsoever, so I was willing to overlook the sound problem. But then after the ghost mission (Winter Training) the next mission (Aerial Training) is stuck on the loading screen. When I push any key it shows that it has stopped working. My laptop is pretty old and the graphics are shit as well. The patches can't be installed in the rar file as well, if the patch fixes this kind of things. So should I try the iso file or should I give up hope?

For an adaptation of the Trilogy, this really works the best it can for the Matrix (And has a better ending than the trilogy.), unfortunately this game was originally designed for PS2 and the PC port is considered lackluster (Example: Image Warping and Depth of Field are non-existant), but as a fan of the franchise, it's quite satisfying.
