I downloaded the 2.0 version listed above but when I click setup and then install 3dfx, nothing happens?

I cobbled together an extracted ISO that will let you install EF2000 V2.0 (an updated version complete with TACOM and 3dFX acceleration) on modern systems:

Can anyone please describe how to install a game on Windows 10? Do you just run the downloaded file with DosBox and that's it?

This was the flight sim I cut my teeth on in 1995, played it to death. The multiplayer fun factor is still unmatched IMO.

What i really wanted to achieve was to install the game. copy out the sound file "weapons armed" and put it inm wife's car so when she lifts the red cover and flicks the switch, the sound file plays thru the car scound system and the fire missiles button lights up ... im hoping this will help her road frustrations lol. ... and i used to love playing that sim.
Does anyone know here i can get the sound file???

this worked using dosbox, just make sure you run
the ef2000BATCHFILE and not the ef2000EXEfile, additional thoughts....
game ran very sluggish and choppy, too slow for my liking.
if 60FPS=smooth framerate then I would guess this was running at or around
28FPS....framerate is always the most important thing in games, too SLOW or
too FAST can ruin your gameplay experience.

So way ahead of it's time for 1995.
The last free download version I tried (which was not this one hosted here btw) ran too fast to be playable though. Not one "CPU slowdown" program would work.
To answer Gamefunk's earlier question: Depends if this one IS the DOS version. There was a DOS and a Windows 95 version. Dosbox won't like this much if it's the W95 one.

Dulu saya punya games simulator ini, karena ganti pc saya kesulitan mencari games ef2000 ini. tetapi sekarang saya mendapatkanya di sini. pada saat saya menulis ini proses download sedang berlangung. Semoga saja bisa dimainkan kembali dengan lancar.
