I got it to run but it freezes when I try to load a save file. I can see the .save files in Programme Files L.egacy Interactive ER but the game can't seem to read them. Any ideas?

This is a great little game about being an medical intern! It was way ahead of it's time, the only problem is it's too short (only 6 episodes) and no sandbox mode. But for me it's one of the best if not the best medical game ever. A shame it got released in 2005 instead of today, I think it would've been better appreciated instead it has been forgotten. The original devs and publisher don't realize they had a gem.

For those trying to get it to work on modern systems I found that by right clicking and running it as administrator allows the game to work, but it crashes occasionally so save often.

The readme file suggests loading a new game and loading your old save from it for stability, but saving often and reloading the game is more convenient.

The game works fine for me on first sight. No virus detections and no need for the additional patches.

Hi, I've gotten the game to run and everything seems to be working fine except the Maps tab.
Each time I click "Maps" (next to "Beds") the game stops responding and I have to force close.

Any suggestions? I'm on windows 11 and I've mounted the disc image and installed both of the patches. It did also crash clicking maps prior to installing patch 1&2 also.
