Fun game. Works flawlessly in Dosbox on Windows 7 Pro x64, so should work on newer operating systems as well. Unzip to new directory, and use SH3 to run the game.
The game itself revolves around using FMV sequences. So you're presented with a story in a video sequence using real actors, and from there you have to open your "directory" and talk to Lestrade at Scotland Yard. That opens another video segment, and you have to listen to what is being said, because he might say three names during that segment. So you find one of the names he said in the directory, then you go talk to that person, which brings up a new video segment, and that person might give the name of a business. So you find the business name in the directory, go there, and it opens a video sequence etc. etc. etc. etc. and etc.
The game is pretty much like this the whole way through, then when you think you've figured out who the guilty person(s) is/are, you go to court and select who you think it is. If you get it wrong, you're sent back to where you left off (even though the judge said in the video sequence I was being sent back to the beginning of the game) I still had all of my points I had acquired, and still had all of my notes.
And there are three stories to do.
