Here’s some help for y’all.
1. When installing to Dos box, no need for the French patch, if you have problems installing CD1 through DosBox rather than mounting the MDF file and install it though there, mount it and extract the iso from the mdf for audio of course and put to a folder and run it from the folder and should install fine with no problems (don’t install from mounted iso file)

2. And “simply”once that is done all you need to do is find the game installed directory (which is usually C:/Versaill) from Dos box and play the installed game.

3. When it prompts you for disc 1 or 2 simply mount the mdf file not the extracted one. IDK why it’s that hard to run it but hope it kinda helps :)

P.S after installing the game and it asks for disk 1 or 2 and you have mounted it to F:/ or whatever the drive letter is and it does not recognise, open the installed versaillais which is by default in C:/versaill and change the CD rom location in the text doc to wherever you mounted the CD whether that is F:/ or whatever.

A new build of SCUMMVM now supports the game. If you follow the step in the comments to copy the game data from the disc, just direct SCUMMVM to the game's directory and it should recognize it.

I found this game very easy to install other then being in mdf-mds form. I simply mounted the image files with daemon tools, copied to a folder and mounted this folder as the CD in dosbox. I advise D-fend reloaded, it makes it very easy. And simply use install.EXE from CD1.

First post ps : Thanks to everyone at Myabandonware.com, loving your collection.

I am sad. Installed it from fix file, then copied the data folders as it is instructed in French, but then, when I try to run the game, after "press any key to continue" the whole thing shuts down... Does anyone can help me please?
