LOL I still have my orig copy of this game running on an old 386DX computer. It was a fun game that still could be developed into business strategy game. Kind of reminded me of Airbucks which I also still run from time to time. Guess I like the old stuff I still have working Commodore 64 and 128's.

I don't think it's that bad, like JGF stated, there is the basis of a good game here! It would be great if some nice developer took this and turned it into everything it could be! As it is though, it isn't bad but I can't even find a rule book for it. I'd like very much to know how the routs work.

There is the basis of a good game here. Years ago on CompuServe I mentioned I'd bought this game and a MicroProse dev laughingly said, "Oh, you're the one!". He told me this game started as a project by a group of German college students, then MicroProse offered to fund development of a full game; when development dragged on month after month with no final version in sight MicroProse finally told them to just send whatever they had. A few final touches from MicroProse devs and it hit the market "as-is". The game is completely playable, though with little variety and a serious bug. It should play until 1940, but you quickly learn how much to spend on research, which routes are most profitable, and how much to charge, so each game plays out identically and it is easy to have the final airship models before 1930 ...so either start over or grind on with the same ships on the same routes at the same rates for the next 10+ years. The bug: you can only own a certain number of ships at a time, and you can build terminals with or without repair depots; if a ship has a breakdown at a terminal with no repair facilities it and the terminal are out of service for the rest of the game - you cannot fly the ship because it needs maintenance, you cannot repair the ship or demolish it without a depot, you cannot build a depot because that ship is blocking the site, other ships cannot use the terminal because that ship is blocking it, and this ship still counts as one of your inventory; if this happens early in the game ... start over. This could have been a very good business strategy game; what's there is fun but you will quickly tire of it.
