Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (aka ET) is a video game published in 2003 on Windows by Activision Publishing, Inc., Bethesda Softworks LLC. It's an action game, set in a sci-fi / futuristic, shooter and world war ii themes, and was also released on Mac and Linux.

The game is free anyway!
Unfortunately the Steam version is banned in Germany, so if you're German or just prefer non-Steam versions of games, you can just download the game from the developers themselves:

You should also play the game with ET: Legacy, which gives it an updated Engine (proper ALT+Tab and widescreen resolution support & many more fixes and features):

If you want to play the Steam version with ET: Legacy and you want it to still behave like a native Steam game (shows up in profile & friends list, records play time) this is the best way:

The devs are apparently working on getting ET: Legacy on Steam as well, but until then this is the best method.
