Description of Chu-Teng

Chu-Teng [中天] is a point and click adventure game developed by OutSide Directors Company. It is the sequel of Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong Nou. The story takes place some time after the first game; at the beginning of the game player encounters Nanshu, who explains the story. Nanshu tells he was set to guard Chu-Teng, but the darkness entity named Chu-In broke him into pieces. Nanshu called for help, and found Rin, and one of his eyes turned into a transportation device, while his ears became a tablet for Rin to use. Rin then sets off for Chu-Teng.

Chu-Teng released in Japan for the Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows in October 1995, but before 2013 it has been considered as "lost media" due to its rarity, even the developers of the game didn't have a copy of it. Fortunately, in 2013 one of fans of the game found it and uploaded the ISO image of the original Japanese CD on 4chan. Finally, in 2020, seven years after, another fan made a full English translation of the game, so now all fans of the first game and Osamu Sato works can play it
