One more tip to make it run: Do what Rethinking said and also deactivate your second monitor (by unplugging it or duplicating the display etc)

Found a much easier way to get this working
Install the game, copy the no cd over,
Download ddraw.dll from narzoul/DDrawCompat/releases github
copy it into the casino empire directory and run as normal, no need for DXwnd
Tested on windows 11

Doesn't work at all! Even if I follow the instruction for DxWnd... the game doesn't open... nothing's happen... :( so diseppointting...

Using BOTAWESOME's DxWnd guide posted below I was able to get this game running perfectly on Win10 in 2024. Man this game brings back a piece of my childhood.

Got it to work fine only problem is reputation goes down to 0 after the first 5mins and wont go up no matter how many times i upgrade the casino and level up the items inside

the game runs fine, you have to play at a lower resolution or you will see the strange color effects. I don't understand why people feel the necessity to trash this website when they cannot properly configure the games.

Here is a step-by-step guide to run Casino Empire:
Replace the "CasinoEmpire.exe" with the "CasinoEmpire.exe" located in the iso file in the folder named "Game Extras" or you Search for "Casino Empire v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE" on Google and download it from gamecopyworld.
Download DxWnd and create a folder for it named DxWnd.
Extract the DxWnd files to the folder you created.
Double-click the dxwnd.exe file.
Select "File - Import" from the top menu.
Navigate to the "exports" folder within the DxWnd folder and select "Hoyle Casino Empire (GDI emulation)".
Right-click on the newly created icon in the DxWnd tool and select "Modify".
Find the "Path" option and click the "..." on the far right.
Navigate to the game's installation path and double-click CasinoEmpire.exe.
Press OK to confirm.
Launch the game using DxWnd.
With these steps, you can run Casino Empire without any problems.

I got this to open up to the first intro video but watching it or skipping it just leads to a black screen with I'm assuming menu music playing?
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

if you just download the game and open it... it wont work.. you need to download the no-cd app also. Under "Game Extras" NOCD download and replace it with the Cdrive install file.. should run fine. If you get weird colors run in compatability mode.. enable 16bit colors.. and disable full screen

Game also won't even open for me. I tried adjusting the compatibility settings, still nothing. Any suggestions?
