The PCGamingWiki page for the *first* MotoGP URT has a section titled "Configure controls not opening" that links to a fix for this games' controls that works for me. Basically, It copies a couple of DirectInput Mapper dlls from Windows XP to the proper system folders and creates the necessary registry key. I didn't try just copying the files to the game's folder, so I'd try that first. After applying I was able to open the Configure Controllers section of the Launcher and remap both Keyboard & Mouse and Controller controls.

Now the only problem I'm having is that performance gets BAD often even on a modern PC. I'd still consider it playable, but maintaining 60 fps without huge dips at even Default settings seems impossible (even with DXVK!)

This is my childhood game and i enjoy playing it a lot. i would like to find some friends to race with. i know the way how to play together as LAN game. i ever did with my friends before, but they not get used to this game much :D
also i can send you people my save file so you guys can race with me offline too.
