Collapse: The Rage (Collapse: Ярость) was a standalone expansion for the game Collapse. Unlike the original game, this addon was released only in Russian language, there was no releases in other languages. The addon is a standalone and can be played without the base game

Notes:

Be careful, the game was protected with infamous StarForce DRM that can break your system, make sure to use NoDVD before the first launch of the game! Drivers of StarForce DRM can break your system, especially if you use 32-bit variant of Windows OS! Do not run the game after the installation, first use NoDVD - copy all files from NoDVD archive and put them into game folder, agree to replace the original files; after that run the game from RAGE.exe. NoDVDs are safe to use, NoDVD for patched version showed few generic warnings. All warnings are generic, about suspicious file, the usual case with NoCD/NoDVD; if your antivirus triggers on NoDVD files, add them to antivirus exceptions list
On some systems, the official patch cannot be installed because it has the Russian letters in the filename. If you cannot install the patch, try to rename the patch installer or download the other patch installer from Patches-Scrolls
If the game doesn't run or you get "Cannot Initialize Video" error at the launch - try to add the game's executable to the list of DEP exceptions, here's the guide how to add any app to DEP exceptions. According to this guide, that problem mostly happens on Windows 7 and newer Windows OS
Also, try to use 4GB Patch tool and patch the game's executable so the game could use more than 4 GB of RAM. Optionally, try to use display wrappers such as dgVoodoo 2 or DXVK
The game has controller support so you can play it with gamepad. If the game doesn't recognize your controller - try using one of the additional tools from PCGamingWiki guide for controllers

Final post.
Finished it, delightful and heart thumping game.
The vertical blue bar for the 4 energy attacks is Float, 25.0000, input whatever, for example 9999 and you have thousands of:
- The totally overpowered jedi like time slowing, really, god like.
- A clone to fight by you.
- Force lightning.
- Ground electrifying defense.
So surprisingly good, need more, installing the Collapse original game to see what can I adapt.

** How to load your savegame ** !

When starting a new game, you *must* input a chosen name for your hero when prompted.
The game autosaves at some points.
To be able to load saves after quitting a game session, at the menu you *must* first click on the 4 option:
Find and click on your chosen hero name.
Only now, clicking the 1st option in the game menu it loads your last save.

-- If you want to preserve diverse saves, they are kept at:
C:\Users\PC\Documents\Buka\Collapse the Rage\saveGame\profile.(your chosen hero name)

-- As a plus, you can change the FOV -I use 110- at

Great game !!
Got it working, windows 11.
(if you can delete my previous posts)
Used free WinCDEmu-4.1.exe: install it, browse to the mdf-mds location, select it and it gets mounted ok.
Install as indicated by you. Run from RAGE.exe.
( Got the manual in english:
Free PDFsam Basic-split, to split the russian manual PDFs in 3 pieces of 9mb for Google Translate Documents to accept that sizes separately, then fuse with PDFsam Basic the 3 english obtained pieces into 1 manual in english.)
New game: 1st not greyed, then 3 options (2 trials to learn), went directly to 3rd one: game prologue.
The game has key layout remapping !

--- Game prologue: All Float, Simple Values.
- Health current full, and max initial: 50.0000 (in 2 training options is 200.0000)
- Rage full, 180.0000, 1 hit kill
- Skill points, 1 per level up.
- Experience (shown in popup touching Enter), find, input some 17000 and with next kill jump instantly to level 22 or so, plus same number of skill points to upgrade all skills shown.
- Ammo chamber 15 default, and magazine pistol, etc, can input 9999 or whatever.
With a simple glovepie.exe script you can use a terrific quick autofire that mows down anything.

Tried other mounting-converting softwares and the game image remains unusable.

Can't open the mds-mdf game image:
"Invalid source" with freeware ISOToolKit.exe.
An PowerIso, closes.
Can you add a zipped regular ISO image instead ?
Or tell us what particular software opens those old files ?
