How to play 007: Blood Stone Windows
Install & play guide (for ISO version of original DVD):
- Mount the disc image. You will need the utility for mounting disc image files, like WinCDEmu, UltraISO, Alcohol 52%/Alcohol 102% or Daemon Tools Lite
- Install the game
- After that install the patch
- Then mount the mini image in virtual drive, to bypass DRM, or use NoDVD (simply copy files from the archive and replace the original files inside the game folder)
- Open the directory with the game and find Bond.exe. Right click on Bond.exe - Properties - Compatibility - Set "Run this app in compatibility mode with Windows 7" and "Run as administrator"
- Launch the game and play
Install & play guide (for repacks):
- Simply mount the .ISO file with the utility for mounting disc image files, like WinCDEmu, UltraISO, Alcohol 52%/Alcohol 102% or Daemon Tools Lite
- As alternative - extract the files from .ISO and launch Setup.exe
- Install the game (repack includes patch and NoDVD already)
- Open the directory with the game and find Bond.exe. Right click on Bond.exe - Properties - Compatibility - Set "Run this app in compatibility mode with Windows 7" and "Run as administrator"
- Launch the game and play
The game with patch and NoDVD has been tested on Windows 7 and Windows 10, works with no problem. The game supports widescreen and ultra-high resolutions up to 4k
Notes:
- NoDVD triggers a lot of warnings on VirusTotal, here's the report. It is mostly because of dll-file, should be okay to use. But still, for 100% safety we recommend to use Virtual Machine. You can also try to use mini image to bypass DRM
- If you're using Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 - before starting the game check out if DirectPlay is enabled in your system. See this guide how to enable it
