MorphX (aka Симбионт, Simbiont, The Swarm) is a video game published in 2008 on Windows by Buka Entertainment. It's an action game, set in a post-apocalyptic, shooter, survival horror and puzzle elements themes.

How to play MorphX Windows
For the fan-made ISO Version made by wkduffy:
- In the "Redist" folder of install directory, run "PhysX_Game_Installer_281.msi" or use legacy driver to avoid warning message
- To see English text in-game go to:
Settings > Gameplay > Subtitles > Yes - On Video Options screen, hit space bar for advanced graphics options.
- If you need to extract PAK files, use Luigi Auriemma's QuickBMS Generic Files Extractor and his "Clutch.bms" script (written specifically to deal with most of Targem's games, like "Clutch") - http://aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms.htm
If you use the Russian DVD, be careful as it contains the infamous Starforce protection, which can brick your computer.
Several other languagues can be downloaded from this Mega link, it's very raw though. Here are some explanations from the author:
Fixed: Mission objectives now work; Proper subtitles; Complete English cinematics; Enemy chatter is a bit of a mix, didnt want to delete the original russian file where I couldnt find a replacement; The game will work with extracted .pak files, so I gave up trying to pack it again.
It seems like the audio might be a bit low for some of the files. You need Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/). How to do it (I did it on Windows XP): Open Audacity. Drag all the OGG files whose volume you want to change, on to the Audacity window. Audacity will open each file in a separate track (you can actually play them all together). Press
ctrl + ato make sure you selected all tracks. Go to the menu Effect/Amplify and choose how much you want to amplify the sounds. If the "OK" button gets disabled, then you must tick the option to allow clipping (some points with distortion). Press the Preview button to preview and make sure there's not too much clipping (or any at all). If it's just a notification sound, not a big deal. Happy? Press OK to accept the amplification. Un-select the tracks (click somewhere else with the mouse cursor or pressctrl + shift + a. With the cursor, select all the track of only one track (sorry - I didn't find a key combination for this). Menu File / Export Selection (Export multiple), and choose OGG format. Repair for each one of the tracks.

Hi folks, I found an English version created by Mr. Terje_P. Currently I am at Kurskaya Station and everything works and above all it is in English. If the creator read this, thank you very much for taking your time and strengh on this project :)

Since the Digital Installer version has an English intro, I know because I changed the file name and pasted it to the version with English subtitles, this digital Installer version may have English dubbing in the sounds.pak file, so I ask if anyone knows how to open this file.

It seems like the full English pc version is lost from what I saw online, I find it weird that someone fan made the subtitles for the Russian version, wouldn't it be easier and better to find someone who could do a crack for the English version? I know it uses tages DRM which a bunch of games used, there's probably some documentation floating around in how to defeat tages, a skilled person could probably do it

You know how to open Sounds.pak in this game because there should be English dubbing there, only what I made English is the intro and the ending of game.

The digital installer can't be installed, it doesn't come with the serial key but even if you get one it needs to connect to the original servers to activate it... Only the fan-made ISO version works i think (i'm trying it now).
Oh and i think their both starforce drm free.
