Notes:
- To save the progress in the game and create a savegame, press Ctrl+S. By default the game makes savegames in .txt format, which are not immediately detected when attempting to load a game by using Ctrl+O. To fix it use Savegames fix by Corak, that fix automatically convert savegames to .lco format which the game recognize immediately
- Windows version of the game should work on any 16-bit and 32-bit variants of Windows OS up to Windows XP, probably will work on newer Windows too (but it won't work on 64-bit systems). Windows 3.x version should work fine in DOSBox + Windows 3.11. If you don't know how to use it, you can download the compilation by Corak, it is the archive with the game and Russian build of DOSBox, check this page for more details (it is on Russian, use the translation machine)
- Starting from Thursday in game, many locations will be closed by default, to entry them you must have the keys and tickets, which can be obtained through successful "investigations" in the previous days. However, the final scene can be unlocked even without the keys or tickets - you need to pay 2,000 livres for an audience with the king. That means you can complete the game even without completing all investigations or even learning about the murder!
