Description of Blackout

In 1997, Deadline Multimedia ApS publishes Blackout on Windows 3.x. Also published on Mac, this adventure game is abandonware and is set in a detective / mystery, graphic adventure, crime, thriller, europe, full motion video, puzzle elements and amnesia themes.

Blackout was the first major release from Danish game developers Deadline Games, in which players assume the role of a schizophrenic person with multiple personalities, who wakes up next to a headless corpse, and have no idea who or where they are, and from there on have to remember.

Great game. But why is it posted under win3.1 and 95, OS was DOS at the time. I can't remember win3.1 and 95 being an OS but just a program under DOS.
