Micro Commandos is a strategy game which was developed and published by Monte Cristo Games, released in 2002.

In the game, you control a tiny alien race who want to take over the "world of the big"! They are only a few inches tall and the story says that they have come from a far away planet to conquer planet Earth.

The game is split up in to numerous missions. You start off in the basement of a human's house. The more missions you complete, the more locations your micro commandos will visit including a museum, a pizza restaurant, a haunted house, a cabaret, an office, an underground station and an art gallery. Obviously the human locations are much bigger compared to the size of your tiny commandos. They have to use grapple hooks just to climb up on to tables and chairs!

There are three types of micro commandos (units). Your collectors must collect food, electricity and material from the human worlds, in order to complete these missions. Your engineers must build buildings in their village such as warehouses, kitchens and dormitories. You will come across a variety of menacing enemies from other tiny alien races, to rats and cockroaches who are all about the same size as you! It is up to the soldiers to protect your alien race from these enemies.
