If anyone sees this and is experiencing the Disk 2D issue that @OLD OLD SCHOOL GAMER mentions above, use the "Time Zone v1.1 (4am and san inc crack)" version from the Internet Archive & that should work.

I would love to play this game. What emulator do you recommend to play these old apple games on a dos machine?

I hadn't played this game since I was a child when my dad first "bought" it when it first came out on Apple II. Such a nostalgic play. It's great playing it on the emulator because there's no need to constantly swap floppies and wait for the drive to read the data. So much faster.

I do love how each image is rendered in the same way it did back on the old system. It paints it just as it did back then. Love it!

One issue I discovered. Not sure if its with the Abandonware copy or if it was in the original Apple II programming (I don't remember if it's an original glitch but somehow it seems familiar), but when in Egypt 50 BC, if you go North right after exiting the time machine, it is prompting to insert Disk 2D. The disk is already in the drive but it fails to recognize it. I tried other disks to no avail. But if you just avoid going north just outside of the time machine, you'll be okay. You can explore everywhere else in the zone. I just hope there wasn't anything critical in that northern area. Will see...

Love playing this Game!

I owned this game and spent hours playing it until I got to the drawer - can't remember where it was but the drawer was supposed to have something in it but it was empty. I never finished it but it was awesome.
