Hier sind 60 Turnier-Decks für Catan das Kartenspiel. Der Großteil ist von der ehemaligen Seite www.catan.d-lyx.org, der Rest von Pippin und mir erstellt.
Die ZIP-Datei hier unten laden, entpacken und die Dateien in den Unterordner /Data/decks/ in eurem Installationsordner kopieren.

I realised that the directdraw-wrapper DDrawCompat might be too slow on certain machines or for multiplayer games.
So here is a detailed step by step installation guide for Windows 10 and 11 with the directdraw-wrapper DXGL:
1) Download the ISO-file from this Website, double click on it. Install the game.
2) Download the patch-file from this website, unpack it and double click on "catan-das_kartenspiel_upgrade_01.exe" (this upgrade includes all other patches)
3) Go to the folder where you installed the game and right click on "Catan_ks.exe", go to "Compatibility" and activate the compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2
4) Download the directdraw-wrapper "DXGL": https://dxgl.org/download/DXGL-0.5.22-win32.exe Install it. If you have issues during installation deselect "Fix DDraw COM..." and install only "DXGL Components". VC redist should be installed automatically. If not download it from this website and install it: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
5) Start DXGL and click on "Add" in the left bottom corner and select Catan_ks.exe.
6) Start the game by double clicking Catan_ks.exe
On some machines I had issues with DXGL and I had to use DXGL-0.5.19-win32 and VC redist 15-19 x86.

Für alle, die nach mir kommen:
Gottfried und Pippin haben es richtig beschrieben. Nur den DXGL findet man nicht in den Patches, wie ich angenommen hatte. Man muss sich den DXGL-Konfigurator installieren.
Weil mein PC den Download nicht annehmen wollte musste Ich mir erst einen Downlaod-Manager herunter laden, damit dieser dann den Download der DXGL.exe erzwingt.
Die URL des DXGL kopieren und laufen lassen.

Hi welchen patch meinst du? den hier verfügbaren? Da sind ja mehrere enthalten.
da finde ich keine DXGL. Kannst du mir bitte weiterhelfen.

Hallo DizzkWest,
du musst das Spiel installieren, dann den Patch, dann DXGL. DXGL öffnen, dort die Datei catan_ks.exe hinzufügen und DXGL wieder schließen. Dann Rechtsklick auf catan_ks.exe und bei Kompatibilitätsmodus Windows XP SP 2 einstellen. Dann funktioniert das Spiel. Bei mir geht dieser Vorgang unter Windows 10 und 11.

Alles probiert kann es nicht spielen auch nicht mit dxgl vllt kann mir ja jemand helfen danke schon mal im vorraus.

If you have problems to play it under Windows 10 (really slow) install DXGL and add catan_ks.exe to it and then right click on catan_ks.exe and activate the compatibility mode (Windows XP). Then the game runs normally.
