I am unable to run this game as I appear, and suspect that the issue is a received "Dwminit" error on my Nvidia 3060 TI Graphics Processing Unit according to Event Viewer.
I am unsure why, as I have the latest updates for my GPU and I have most legacy drivers installed, but upon replacing the ISO with the crack and launching it from a folder without the disc image mounted, the application literally hard-hangs and crashes my Personal Computer, forcing me to hard reset the PC through it's off-switch.

I disagree with Joey, taking chances in the gaming industry is natural progression. I think more devs should experiment with their player's emotions as some will appreciate it, and others will not. Children/babies exist in the real world and realism dictates that they are just as much in danger as adults. So I have no issue with it, and I hope that in the future we will see more innovation and less *ahem* Joeys.

What the fuck is wrong with the devs putting a baby into the game? I stopped playing near the end because this was making me real angry. I do not support children being put in horror games. I detest this practice because I detest children dying for shock value. I will not give the game a review; instead I am going to single out the devs for being so ignorant of gamer's feelings. These devs have kids, what if I put one of them in my game. they'd be pissed. so how is it right for them to do so. It's not an artistic choice and it's not a practical one. They wanted to do this for shock value. Well you got your shock value. I am SHOCKED that you VALUE being obnoxious over being genuinely scary. Bottom line: CHILDREN ARE OFF LIMITS IN HORROR GAMES!

The quick timed events ruined the game in the first 10 seconds of play. The keys you have to hit keep changing every second.

Horrible quicktime events with a limited timer before the enemy will kill you. So dumb.

After running auto-run.exe in admin mode (right click) the game is installed in your local disk c (for me at least by default) Localdisk/progamesx86/eidos/Shellshock 2, now go back to the file you downloaded which has autorun.exe in it, open the top file named Crack, copy the shellshock2.exe in it and paste it in the game file in Localdisk/progamesx86/eidos/Shellshock 2. when asked if you want to replace the existing file say yes. finally to launch game just run shellchock2.exe in admin 2. i hope that helped you. I hate writing intrsuction by text, hard to be coherant.

i get a red message that says this app was blocked by an administrator for your protection and after i close it i get a No CD/DVD-ROM drive found. I then made autorun.exe run as admin and the red meesage was not there anymore but the No CD/DVD-ROM drive found message is still a problem

I still have this on Steam before they took it down. I still pop it in every couple of years or so. Atmosphere is great, infected are truly scary, weapon selection is so-so and the story is really bad but I've played worse. It's worth a playthrough at least once for the atmosphere.
