I'll be honest, don't bother playing it.
Firstly, the positives and everything close to that:
- It gives off Painkiller/Serious Sam TFE/TSE vibes (including platforming),
- Visually it's unique (see screenshots),
- A ton of weapons that aren't so standard in most other shooters,
- Music is pretty good, (but also copyrighted)
And now the other side:
- Most enemies can are either stand still and spam projectiles that predict your movement or run towards you and spam projectiles that also predict your movement, and kamikaze rats,
- Most enemies die in 1-2 shots from your starter pistol making non-standard weapons mostly useless,
- Bosses are a 15 minute cat and mouse chase, or a 15 second hold attack "fight" if you have invincibility and uhhhh.... bootleg quad damage, but unless you were spamming powerups, you should have them for a bossfight
-Sounds (usually death sounds) are randomly quieter or way louder than they should be with my favorite (not) being crying babies, high pitch squeaks and quake 3 ammo pickup sound playing every time you swap your weapon,
- Most arenas are easly cheesable by taking a step forward to trigger spawns and quickly backing up to the entrance,
- Story exists,
- It's a gamble whether will only need a widescreen fix to run it properly or a 20 minute patchwork to get it working on modern systems.
If modern Ubislop got to make Serious Sam The Third Encounter and they had lost the rights to Serious Sam, this wouldn't be far off (and this was made by old Ubi Soft)
TL;DR:
Generic Painkiller/Serious Sam clone with good music, ok visuals, mediocre gameplay, weak enemy roster, terrible boss fights and a possible pain to get it to run on modern computer.

tried many different version and ways to run the game, it never works, one had bugged textures i couldnt fix, one kept crashing, one had black menu and kept crashing, etc... its the ONLY game i didnt manage to play correctly yet, if were not counting godzilla strike zone, cause thats pretty much a lost cause.

Game works only works properly on windows 7, but you can still play it with linux proton or if your on windows 10 use dgvoodoo2

Hello Gamers,
I did get the game working on Windows 10, after a few hours of digging. First, if you have connected your pc to a tv, and the scale is set to 100 or 150%, then the game does not display correctly. Does anybody know a site where you can go to ask for help, if you have problems running an old game on a modern pc?

Hey guys, for those of you who have missing textures problems, install this widescreen fix. It fixes both widescreen FOV and missing textures issues. Tested on Windows 10.

I LOVE the game i was only 3 years old when istarted playing on pc and it was the very first FPS game i ever played and i was even better in the game than my father i recommned the game to everyone who likes FPS games
