True fact:
It was purposely written into the gaming code to randomly fail the loading process so you had to reset the computer and reload it.

I remember stumbling upon a Java port/remake of the Atari ST version many years ago on an old internet game site as a kid. It was more fun exploring his mansion than collecting everything. :D
