Game is extremely demanding. Got an Inspiron 8100, 1.13 GHz, 512MB, GF2 Go - praised as the fastest gaming laptop of 2001. Should toy with the game, but menu chops and game runs in slo-mo if not set to 256 colors and all visuals off.
I also second Hippojay - display support needed for 1280x1024x8, or game will throw error message and refuse to start. Tested on 3 machines.

Getting an error when trying to install.
Once, when it asks to install Direct X and then when I go to start the game I get a setpallet error, stemming from the Direct X.
