I got actual goosebumps all over when I saw this. I have not even seen this program since 1995 or so.

I still have the red/blue 3D glasses that came with this. So many hours of my childhood spent with this bit of software. I remember finding the e-mail address of the music composer (Hamilton Altstatt) when I was a teenager and asking him to ask if it was OK for me to recreate/remix music from this game, just for my own nostalgic enjoyment. To my surprise he replied and said it was cool. What a nice dude.

My first PC was a Packard Bell DX2-66 and came with 3D Dinosaur adventure. Up until then, I was a C64 owner for nearly 10 years and then moved to the Megadrive. The PC came with about 10 programs if I remember right and this was one of them. At first it was the novelty of the graphics and able to do something other than just play games, having a machine that was better than what I was used to at school and then at work. This was in the day before the internet really took off, so encyclopaedias were still very popular, both in paper format and computer. The 3D was quite novel back then, the watershed moment was watching Jaws on TV in the glorious 3D. I can't remember where we got the glasses from for that, but the ones I got with the PC were binned a long time ago.

This took hours of my youth. This and the rollercoaster one. Blew my mind. 3D! Glad to see it archived, probably not getting a GOG release, lol.

Holy fuck, I played this obsessively when I was a kid. I can't believe this is in the list. This is my childhood screaming back to me. Amazing!

I'm hoping that this is the GOOD version instead of the "poor excuse excuse of music that is really just a bunch of computerized sound-effects" version

@Chubz
First of all, I was making my comment cause the pics to the game, is not pics from the game.
I've forgotten now which file I've used, and I've deleted the game since it was not the one I hoped for.

@Lazeron So which file did you select? Did you not think it would be beneficial to fellow users to list your solution?

I had some trouble finding the rigth file to put into D-fend. But after I got it to work, I was so disapointed to see, that the screenshots in here postet, were not from this game. I was actually looking forward to play the game the screenshots shows once again, so boohoo for me :(

I remember buying this back in 1993 and trying to install it on my Mom's 8088 machine that actually had a CD-Rom drive! Needless to say it didn't work, and when I tried to delete it, I ended up erasing the files on her hard drive...fun times!
