Sorry for the late reply; I've not visited the site in a long time and have just got back into playing hunting games.
When you install the game, there should be an executable file (either labelled application or exe with the name of the game, or an abbreviation (can't remeber which. Create a shortcut from that file to the desktop. You should then be able to start the game from that shortcut. If you haven't used a NoCD patch (that replaces the original installed exe file), you must have the disk that you created from the iso file in your reader for the game to work. If you've used a NoCD patch then there's no need to place the disk in your DVD reader.
p.s. if you want to play one of the best hunting games around at this time (2021) then check out the classic version of TheHunter that is free to play on Steam. It's nearly as good as the commercial version Call of the Wild; both games (i.e. the free and the commercial versions) include amazing environments and the weapon animations in Call of the wild look almost real. (the complete Call of the wild package was only £11 as a humble bundle until the end of October 2021).

Great game but i have to uninstall and then re-install it to play it each time as there is no shortcut and it only seems to launch from installation. Any suggestions guys?

download iso zip which once unzipped has has 2 files cue .bin. Mds. Or
something similar .download an ISO mounting tool like Virtual clone drive,WinCDEmu or Magic disc there is loads more available and free. .Install the iso mounter open it,and direct it {ie:mounting it} to your ISO use the mds or cue file.(you can open my computer to see if it has mounted}
The game installer stars automatically after the game is installed you can start the game.{the ISO for some games games must be always be mounted in the Virtual drive to play if you unmount it to play another ISO file you must remount to play. Windows 8, 8.1,&10 comes with the capability to mount ISO files so you don’t need 3rd party iso mounting software. On windows XP I use magic disc its old but works for me or scroll down to bottom of this page look for link how to play click this goto ios. cue. And bin files click this for help
