Thank you so much for the patch. I tried playing the game while using dual monitor tools and closing the game would cause the tool to also crash. The game wouldn't ru on highest resolution either. Not really things I care about tbh. I'm just happy to be able to play this game again after the better part of two decades.

for people who is trying to play it in fullscreen, just drag the window to down before you reach main menu and select windows then fullscreen

As Chiteki said, the fully patched game 1.07 worked perfectly, there was no installation needed, just clicked the .exe and the game started.
Only slight problem in game is a few short freezes when moving a lot of units at once.

Haven’t played this in many years. Aside from the cinematics in the campaign being a little wonky, it works perfectly otherwise. Thanks much for posting 7ero’s great work patching this wonderful old game.

Completely unplayable. Engine runs but in skirmish game , hang after +- 2 hrs. Then, game does not continue. Also PC opponent reaches final development in 5 minutes, and has nukes in 1/2 hour in easiest mode. Tried 2 campaign, couldn't win any, was clobbered in 3-4 minutes.

Sadly I have the same problem as EGROEG. What can be done to save this game? I believe Alexander is not a DOS game, is that right? I hope to hear something soon

game starts up fine using the fully patched game download, but wont work when starting an actual game. it just goes to black screen then crashes

Ive tried DxWnd and have the same problem, i run as admin and the icon shows down in the task bar but then goes away as if i didnt lunch anything no errors no nothing

On a related note, the fully patched game 1.07 made by IR330AX, that is graciously provided here, worked out of the box perfectly without any shenanigans! I'm astounded. A huge thank you for this version, it even has all the additional languages to choose from aside from English, FR GE IT PL SP and even RU. Marvelous job, mr. IR330AX, don't know how you did it. And separate gratitude to Myabandonware site itself, you're awesome guys X)
