3D-Ball
DOS - 1987
Description of 3D-Ball
3D-Ball is a Pong style game in which you use a paddle to bounce a ball back and forth against a wall. The difference here is that rather than viewing it from a distance, you're behind the paddle and the ball bounces towards you. This makes it somewhat more challenging to judge the trajectory of the ball.
How to play 3D-Ball
The game is controlled entirely by the keyboard, using W A D X to move your paddle around, with the option to add a second player on the same keyboard using I J L , . The ball's x and y coordinates are indicated by small markers, judging the z coordinate relies on you perception. 3D-Ball runs perfectly in DOSBox, but due to the age of the game you will most likely need to decrease the cycles (which can be done by pressing CTRL+F11 repeatedly once DOSBox is running) in order to get the game to a playable speed.
