I was able to get the game Babyz: your virtual bundle of joy, up and running properly by changing the compatibility settings to windows Vista1, and downloading a "PetzA" patch, from www.Sherlocksoftware.org

How do I adopt other babies? I click on the baby I want and it downloads. I put it in the Adoption file and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

If you had trouble downloading babyz, find the Mindscape folder in your program files(x86) and they end up in that adopted Babyz folder, just ctrl + x the babies and paste in the adopted Babyz folder that is used for the game. Hope this helps!

I played this game so much my CD-ROM stopped working and it broke my heart! I LOVED this game! It is in need of a graphics rework but the game is so much better than the ones available now. So many things spoiled the players of this game! 1) You got your own house! 2) You could adopt the child of your choice! 3) So many options of Babyz to choose from and you could get more online! 4) All of the realistic stuff that they add in this game and the expectation of games of this type only to get better! They only got worse! There's so much potential for these games to meet this standard and surpass it but no one takes the time to make them as great as they could be!

I got mine to work all the way until I type in a name for my new baby and it freezes. Running in compatiblity mode but can't get to the screen to turn off audio cause it.. well it freezes. If anyone can help me please email me at thepurestwaifu@gmail.com !! ill be forever greatful.

I was playing this on my windows 98 XP and it only HALF way worked. I AM DISAPOINT =. THe adoption center WOULD NOT WORK! and Grandma's house would not take my ONLY CHILD! I dont want it. THe kitchen CHAIR turns everything into stan. I hope IBM can hear me when im yelling at my BAD CHILD for not going to GRANDMAS!
