That's false. There IS youtube footage of a gamer playing a full version, complete with all characters usable. There's a French dude, a hippie from Woodstock, Gypsum, Ripkin and Brutus, along with some Spanish Conquistador looking guy and what appears to be a medieval monk. That said, the controls still look retarded and wonky, and I'm pretty sure the fireball hit animation was ripped straight from Street Fighter 2.
