Deathlord is a video game published in 1988 on Commodore 64 by Electronic Arts, Inc.. It's a role-playing (rpg) game, set in a fantasy theme, and was also released on Apple II.

This game was too damned hard for what it offered. Even in '88.

Not a terrible game. The graphics were good but a direct steal from the Ultima series. My main criticisms were: It was almost TOO large. I recall spending large swaths of time systematically trolling the sea trying to make sure I didn't miss some tiny island somewhere, and when your party died, it instantly saved out the game, forcing you to restart unless you were wise enough to keep a dummy save disk in while you played.

Fantastic RPG. I remember getting almost to the end then my saved game file corrupted. Arrrgh!

This game had nice graphics and looked pretty fun, but I read it was very difficult.
