Description of Eric's Ultimate Solitaire CD
Here is the video game “Eric's Ultimate Solitaire CD”! Released in 1997 on Windows, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's a puzzle game, set in a cards theme and it was released on Mac and Linux as well.

Hi guys,
I'm the guy who provided the Linux files you can get from here. I noticed that they were missing, and that a few folks had asked for them, and I happen to have the original CD, and a lot of other stuff, too.
I thought I'd comment on the files provided here. The original CD is from the "Redhat 7.2" era, and might well not fully work on some modern distributions... at least not without tweaking. So, the "installer" is a "modern installer" which, at least in theory, overcomes that potential problem. In other words, you need BOTH... the CD (either burned or mounted as an image), and the "modern installer."
The "updates" you'll find linked here are for the 1.0a update, and there are four different system types provided therein... "Alpha," "PowerPC," Spark64," and "x86." Most of you will likely be best off, these days, running the x86 version... but there are probably a few PPC users still out there. I would be surprised if there are any Spark64 or Alpha chips still in use, though, but the files are there in case you need them.
