Notes:

• It is recommended to install all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and NET Framework for the correct work of the game. Also it is recommended to install K-Lite Codec Pack for the correct work of in-game videos
• The game works on DirectX 9, so if you're using Windows 8, 8.1, 10 or 11 - you need to enable DirectPlay: Go to Control Panel, and select 'Programs'. Select 'Turn Windows features on and off', click on 'Legacy Components' and check the box 'DirectPlay'. Select OK, once the installation is done, restart your computer
• The game doesn't have any strict DRM protection, only the simple disc check. Use NoCD to remove the disc check and play without the disc
• The game does not start if your Windows user name contains Russian letters: an error appears that a file cannot be found in C:/Users/!5@359/AppData/Roaming/Ludia/FamilyFeud/settings.xml path (!5@359 in this case is a broken symbols because the game didn't recognize the Cyrillic alphabet). To solve it create a directory C:/Users/!5@359/AppData/Roaming (instead of !5@359 type the symbols you got in your error), then create a symbolic link from my user directory with the command (instead of Юзер type your username):

mklink /D C:\Users\!5@359\AppData\Roaming\Ludia c:\Users\Юзер\AppData\Roaming\Ludia

• Most likely, this solution should work if you get the same error on any other languages
