Hey, I tried to set up the Finnish version of the game on Windows 10, but I can't get it to work. Running the setup exe file doesn't do anything. I double clicked on the ISO -file and the game files pop up in CD Drive F. I tried opening the exe -file there and also after moving it to a different location (the D: hard drive) , to no avail.

Can anyone help me with this?

Btw at least with the English ISO version, to start the game you need to first put the contents of the ISO file in a folder.
When you mounted the ISO just run the FORESTIA.EXE and when it asks for FRST:

FolderDATA FRST.Dxr

It should run then

any idea how to install on win 10, i can mount with daemon but it comes under f drive, i can see the disc with the files when i click setup it opens then shows a problem in french something about files missing from appdata.
been looking for this game for ages and i really want to play,

I downloaded the game in English and apart from some color issues it plays perfectly. Does anyone know how to save the game? I completed almost all of it in one go (except for the last part where they throw you a party). But I had to stop playing and lost all my progress when I clicked exit.

Now this game was part of my childhood in primary school, you could say this is what got me into adventure games.

If you're wondering if I managed to get it running, yes I did. But I used a virtural machine of WinXP to play (And also record a playthrough) it.

But that nightmare chapter though, goddamn if I were not so unphased by horror as a kid I would have had nightmares for days for what I had seen.

hi everyone, I had some issues with this game and i find solutions for theses.
First, make sure that your install the game in the D: driver. With Daemon tool for example, make sure that the driver is the "D" driver (You can rename it if not). Then install the game in C driver with adminitrator right.

This is because it's an old game and the install process is very restrictive, the game assume that the PC where it is install is an old PC with only 1 HDD .

I hope this can help some people. And don't forget to change resolution for minimum resolution and 256-color

Hi, I just installed the french version, and I'm only getting sound effects (forest sounds), but not any dialogue, so I'm missing all the story! Do you know how I could fix this or what's the problem ? Thanks!

I try to play the dutch verion you posted but it asks for a disk. Is there any chance you could post a verion for which I don't need the disk?

My brothers and I would be eternally thankful, since we have very good memories of the game and would like to play it again.

note that it's unpacked, but you should be able to press 'create zip' and download the whole thing at once.
I still have the disk somewhere, I'll create a proper iso version of it when I find it and have the time.

Tried to start it on windows 10 and didn't work, if I started it, with the "Setup.exe" it would say that I should put the CD/DVD in my computer. If I started it, with the "Forestia.exe" It would say that I should find the document "FRST" inside the folder "DATA" but it wasn't there, so I could not start it either way, please help.
