Feels like an attempt at out doing Zool 2 or Sonic, which it doesn't,the early levels that i have played are aimless with little to no real challenge except to get through them, jumping can be done on a joypad which makes it easier to get around, but the yellow backdrop and chickens enemies are hard to tell apart, along with spiked walls so you'll keep bumping into the bad guys costing you health, the levels on the 1st world are jumbled with no clear path and a sense of everything being crammed into one big space.

Apart from collecting gems i have no idea what i was supposed to be doing in the actual levels,it's like you have to play them becasue that's the game, which left me with no real sense of actually going anywhere,or achieving anything.

Exiting the level is way too easy to do if you accidentally touch the exit sign, all of the early levels you can just keep going until you reach the end in a matter of 40 seconds, and you can miss 90% of a level and you'll have to replay it which is missing the point of the actually paying the level in the first place!

The yellow cheese themed world looks ok but soon it merges with the hidden enemies and backdrop, there's sections where you can't jump becasue the ceiling is too low,but you have to jump to kill the chickens, and they fly about,so that looks like bad level design, visually it looks good,at least in part, but it soon feels like a dated for the time ECS game,it was made for later machines but it seems to use a modest palette, and with the rather silly non threatening chicken enemies, who are also yellow can be hard to see at times, and they can injure you when you jump on them as there's no shooting,so avoiding them when in large numbers and injury is almost impossible.

The levels are interlinked with RPG sections which offer clues, backstory and pick ups to help you in the levels, but it feels like padding, there's some transporters that can be used but sometimes is says they are broken and you have to find someone to fix it,there's in effect two games in one, which is almost like they had no confidence the game being a platformer so they put all this extra stuff in to make up for it being so bad,it's an annoyance to have to look for the next level each time you complete one.

A note on the music, the jaunty upbeat tune used on all the cheese levels gets annoying after a while,as for the RPG sections the downbeat tune just reinforces the feeling of,what is the point of this game?!

Sounds good on paper but it plays like a poor man's Zool 2,with no clear path to play and the borderline stupid,go anywhere and fall out of the level at the end design,is so bad it can't be compared seriously to its contemporaries, the constant changing of the platform game play and the RPG sections should have been fun and intuitive,it only jars and wastes time, and the you can't jump because of reasons is irking, the no shooting gameplay destroys any feel good factor the devs were aiming for.

Play it with a trainer for infinite lives/health and use the joy pad jump button to make it bearable,as i have no idea why anyone would want to play this game without a cheat,it's too hard, unfair and quite boring after an hour.
