Prophecy
DOS - 1989
Description of Prophecy
A fun action-oriented RPG similar to Westwood's Hillsfarin its "light" gaming style, The Prophecy puts you in a role of -- surprise surprise-- a hero who must save his hometown Trinadon from certain destruction. Colorful graphics and cool weapons make up for the near-absence of plot development and detailed statistics. Good for RPG newbies only.

I thought it was fun, when I played it way back then.
Here's a cheat though lol: the treasure chests are random and if you save/load after opening one, you can get the best weapons in the game soon after you start it.

This looks clunky, but it's a pretty great game if you like adventure / RPG. It's not so much an action game.
