The installer of the game doesn't work on 64-bit systems, you will need to use the extra tools like winevdm to install the game. The installed game should work on modern systems, it was tested on Windows 10 64-bit, the game works with some little issues. As another option, you can install the game on Virtual Machine with old Windows, that way the game works totally fine
