In 1996, MECC, Riverdeep Interactive Learning Limited publishes Storybook Weaver: Deluxe on Windows. Also published on Windows 3.x and Mac, this educational game is abandonware and is set in a reading / writing and typing themes.

does not work. Nothing happens upon clicking this app icon.

STORYBOOK WEAVER DELUXE WORKS ON WINDOWS 10! If you are having issues, READ THIS!
DO NOT USE THE INSTALLER. After trying to use the installer program on both Windows 10 and Windows XP both with and without Compatibility Mode enabled, I can safely say that the installers included in this copy are broken. HOWEVER, THE FULL INSTALLATION OF THE GAME IS INCLUDED IN THIS DOWNLOAD! Installation is not required.
When you extract the SBWDLX95 folder, go into the folder and open the enclosed "SBWDLX" folder. In there you will find the .EXE files for both the 16 and 32 bit builds of the game. Open SBW95.EXE and the game should boot right up.

This app is really good because the children can take lots of knowledge from this and also their creative thinking also making best I really appreciate this app. But the question is I cant install it but I try and try then It installed so I think STORY BOOK WEAVER is best.

There are a couple of errors with the provided release. One, the text to speech feature fails to initialize. Two, the story starter "The Doorway" causes the program to crash.

Help! I can't seem to get any windows or mac programs to work! I don't know if i'm doing it right, but I'm supposed to drag a file into virtual clone drive right? But I don't really understand. Please help!

Same problem as Anna. During installation, at around the 25% mark, I get an error with no message and only an 'OK' button to close it. Pops right back up, too. Help!

I actually have half the suite (My Own Stories) and I really like it... just wish I had the other half. Anyway, an iMac G3 can play My Own Stories, and yes, I do still have one that works. Great application for those that want to be authors (and illustrators too), but if you want a really long story, you have to use the smallest font you can find in the application as the fonts are a fixed size (some in the dos version only come in plain style and you can either bold or italicise, not both). Anywho, you have room to put your imagination at work in this application.
