Win 10 install:
Extract the contents of CD1 .iso into a new folder. (no need to mount).
Delete setup.exe.
Rename setup.bin to setup.exe.
Extract the contents of CD2 .iso into a new folder. (no need to mount).
Move disk02.cbf into the CD1 folder (from step 1).
Open setup.exe, follow install instructions.
Enjoy!

I figured it out! It turns out you can't just load one disc and then mount the other.

Instead, you have to take the files from both CDs and dump them into a new folder, following "ME's" instructions regarding the setup files, etc. - then run the install on disc one and it wont even ask you for disc 2.

Coming back after decades away! I was able to install the first game and play through the old campaign. the guy called "ME" from September 18th 2023 is right when he says you need to rename the setup.bin to setup.exe to get the installation started.

However, I seem to be making a mistake and am not able to get disk 2 to be recognized and finish the install (though I was able to on the first game!).

If I figure out what I need to do I will update.

To install this addon copy the content of both CDs into a directory on your hard drive, delete setup.exe and rename setup.bin to setup.exe. Now it will work flawlessly, just don't forget that it requires the original game.

What is the point of having this game here if it cannot be installed at all? The installer is protected by Securom but we have here standard ISO files which aren't suitable for this DRM. CD images must be made properly in MDF+MDS format otherwise they are totally useless!

If it doesn't work with normal Viet Cong I recommend just installing VC:Purple Haze since its bundled in with that

Would love to confirm this game is functioning and safe. I played it for years back in the day - 100% clan if you see this, you know who this is!
