Wari (sometimes called 'Mancala') is a pure strategy game, that, in its variant forms in many Old World locales, was used to teach children (particularly the children of hereditary leaders) strategic 'thinking ahead' (WAY ahead) from a young age. This is an excellent programme from Image, playable at different levels of difficulty---making it an 'all ages' game as well. The 'ancient game of chieftains' is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago.
