I've found my own solution on the Boolie puzzle! Tabbing out over and over when the boat is supposed to leave gets it to move across the screen. Slowly. Annoying, but hey, it works!

Mine refuses to start, it opens for a second and then closes (crashes?) directly. I LOVE this game and island oddyse but none of them starts for me

We 'fixed' the moving boat issue!!! It's not a perfect solution, but if you put the laptop in sleep mode and wake it back up, they move again. Also, the moving boat issue only occurs sometimes for us. So, this little trick can help 'wake' the game back up to get past those times when it gets stuck. I hope this helps! (:

Get the UK version from Internet Archive. No broken pinballs and the narrator I think is better.

the game plays, but one of the puzzles (the Boolie Boggle puzzle with the pinballs) is broken and the boats do not move, meaning you cannot progress any further through the game :(

I have managed to get the game to work, I didn't do anything special, so I can't really help. But the Boolie Boggle puzzle is almost impossible, the boats will not leave once filled with Boolies.

Had same issue as previous commenter. Game won't install or run, loads for a while when opened and then crashes
