The problem with Legend is the completely unsuitable controlling.
If Lara has locked on to a target, it is better to use the crouch-function to put away Laras weapon to stop locking. And the "connection" realized with the magnetic-hook is best separated with a jump.
If Lara dies, you get all health points back on the next attempt. No reason to waste one of the maximum 3 medikits. This is especially true for the level "England"! Save your Medkits until the Sea Serpent!
If ropes in the game are displayed two meters away from where they should actually be, the Next Generation Effects helps to switch off.
Amanda Pet (Boss Kazakhstan):
If you see a red flare on the ground near Lara jump to avoid damage
First flip all four switches at the walls. Use the Tesla Cannon to first "attract" Amanda's Pet and "push it away" between one of the Tesla-Tower-Twins.
"Pulse" with "push it away" the four spheres between the said twin towers.
Once all four Spheres are attached, use the magnetic-hook to grab the artifact above the Tesla cannon

For me one of the less liked by me,but after replaying it last year i have a more positive view of it in the series.
Quite a short game but it's paced well, more of an Americanised game that the more British centric Tomb Raider games that came before,a heap of racing after bad guys on Ducati product placed motorbikes, and the advent of Lara talking to people actually working with her,the resurrection of Zip from Chronicles brings a nod to the earlier games, and the beginning of Lara being less than a super heroine as she needs help from others,Alistair and a re invented Winston drive the back story somewhat.
Lara travels the world looking for pieces of the sword which leads her to Japan and south America, the levels often feel like a test bed for the later games, the re invented game play means no more jumping 5 feet in the air or the grid system of old, more annoying is the shoot a bad guy and he drops a med pack or a gun,a limit of 3 max is annoying but not the end of the world,so no more finding 50+ heath or 1000 bullets.
The new grapple is the gimmicky tool that is used well but not as obnoxiously as in Anniversary, pole swinging and some puzzle elements bring some realism to the game, but the introduction of the reticule mechanic can be annoying as you have to learn how to kill to get the intended use out of it.
Can be modded with older or later Lara skins, which is fun if you like the earlier or later games TR games.
Could have been longer, could have had real meds and ammo but it holds together well, just watch out for the big boss match at the end,as Lara's aiming (auto) can be switched to manual making it almost impossible to complete the game!
