This was an early favourite of mine, but I never owned it. I borrowed Action Biker from my late best mate Darren Riddle. It was like an open world bike game where you could go anywhere and ride your bike on anything, for example a rollercoaster. Crazy Colin needs be brought back, advertising for the last couple of decades really have lost the plot, no imagination, no pull and totally forgettable. Skips crisps had Colin and to this day I still remember his character.

Mastertronic back in the day did something no other publisher did. They started releasing all their games as a new company at the very cheap price of only a couple of quid. When everyone else was pricing their games around the 5.99-9.99 pound mark. This enabled me to be able to buy games quite often as it was a price that didn't seem too far away from pocket money I would receive or be able to save up for without having to wait weeks or months to buy. Unfortunately for such a cheap price it often showed in the quality. The games were budget type games at best. Either lacking eye candy or had this really simple gameplay or bad playability, or if you were really unlucky all the above. Which wasn't that unusual to be honest for Mastertronic titles. However, occassionally they would release a quality game that had good playability and didn't look too bad either. Enough so to make you think the game could have been sold as a more expensive polished game that the likes of Ocean, or EA, Interplay, US Gold etc.. would put out. This game was fortunately one of them I thought.
I got a lot of game time out of this title. It had enough depth and complexity and most important, playability that kept me coming back.. or at least untill something more worth while took my attention away again. What to say now.. I thought it was a decent quality game and even though it's irrelevant on free abandonware sites such as this, was really excellent value for money. Mastertronic did a good job with this one.
