Hey just stopping in to say, this download is bad. Having to jump through hoops with multiple programs, from rude and condescending instructions to install it - yeah, no thanks.
Instead, go get it through the Mask of Destiny BioMedia Project - it's a whole website dedicated to preserving Bionicle media, and they've got a simple ISO that's also DRM free. They also have an unmodified version, in ISO and virtual disk. They also have it on every platform it was released. They also have scans of all the manuals.

Alternatively, on ModDB there's a community-patched version that fixes some bugs, updates some textures, things like that. It's self contained so you don't need the original game for the mod.

How to change the resolution, i changed the text document "nuconfig" like it was said in the notepad, but in the game it doesnt change

ENDOWED BIONICLE when i click on the launcher and choose install, it will just say uinstall the game and if i click on uinstall the setup will just crash giving me the error message saying "Error Number: 0x80040702 Description: Failed to load DLL: BH_GameExplorerHelper Setup will now terminate" Can i Get som help with this?

Why don't someone publish the game already unpacked (I mean already fine, with all folders, files and the executable) so anyone hasn't always to download additional software to do this things? They can be hard for many.

I found the problem. Lowkey.gg was running in the background. When i turned it off i had no problems anymore. Works great!

My game seems to work propperly except it crashes after picking up a few lego stones. I tried changing the settings but that didn't help. Does anyone know what might cause this problem?

The problem with lagging will fix this:
Open the game, go to options → video options and there change shader version to 3.0, then restart game.

Literally unplayable due do lag, I'm at like 2fps most of the time, came here for nostalgia, got rage inducing lag instead, if there's a fix, someone post it.

Dio cane Luca..., This is "free" game, and this is not official download for it - because official download does not exist. So any complaints about install process are null and void. Yes, it could have been done better (perhaps someone did, but I'm not aware of it). If you have specific problem with install - explain it so we can help.

Ma se qualcuno pubblicasse un Archivio WinRAR o simile con file .exe già disponibile non sarebbe meglio e più semplice piuttosto che dover scaricare un programma per quei .iso? Io cerco un sito con il gioco già pronto, poi appena lo trovo e funziona aggiungo il link qui nei commenti, e Monkas, ero incazzato perché ho buttato MB per il cazzo (e quindi perso tanto tempo per niente), sarebbe più semplice se qualcuno pubblicasse il gioco pronto per essere estratto o scaricato senza dover andare a scaricare altri programmi, non vi pare?

Ok, this is definitive solution:
STEP 1: Download the game (739 MB file), AND right below download link is "NOCD" (4 MB) - download that also.
STEP 2: Extract "Bionicle-Heroes_NoCD_Win_EN" file with Winrar or 7zip software (if you dont have them, download them online for free).
STEP 3: You will get "Bionicle Heroes ISO" folder which contains 2 files: "vty-bihe.bin" and "vty-bihe.cue". NOW we need to "extract" vty-bihe.bin file with another software. You can do it with PowerISO (download for free on google, when installing WATCH OUT that you DECLINE McAfee antivirus). Open the .bin file in iso and then extract it to the location you want.
STEP 4: Now that we have new extracted files, we need to find "launcher.exe". Open it, and press "Install". (When installing untick any additional options that installer offers). I suggest choosing "Custom installation" so that you can choose install path. REMEMBER WHERE YOU INSTALLED YOUR GAME.
STEP 5: Remember in "STEP 1", where i told you to download that "NOCD" file? - yeah, EXTRACT all of it's contents into your install path folder. It will replace "Bionicle.exe" and "Bionicle_win2k.exe", so choose "replace all" option when asked. This is basically crack for the god dam game.
STEP 6: Run the "Bionicle.exe" from your install folder. Thats it.
This is clear as it can get, use google if it's unclear how to use "winrar, 7zip and powerISO". There are guides on youtube for sure. FUCK

È una merda, quando lo scarichi dentro c'è una cartella bionicle_heroes e dentro c'è un archivio Bionicle_Heroes.iso e un file Bionicle_Heroes.mds, se estraete l'archivio Bionicle_Heroes.iso vi appare l'errore di lettura Errore nei dati (Controllo di ridondanza ciclico), poi l'archivio si apre comunque ma dentro c'è un file Bionicle_Heroes.isz, praticamente nessun file .exe o applicazione eseguibile che Windows può eseguire, a me a volte poi il computer si è spento male con una schermata blu e l'errore KERNEL_MEMORY_ERROR o qualcosa di simile, NON SCARICATELO, BUTTATE 594 Mb per il cazzo. Non capisco perché qualcuno pubblica cazzate che non funzionano.
