Description of Blobby Volley
Blobby Volley is a fun little Volleyball game by German freeware developers Daniel Skoraszewsky and Silvio Mummert.
It is a perfect time waster, simple, very addictive and very fun. The usual volleyball action is here, hit the ball over the net until it hits the ground on one side, but the above average physics and well tuned gameplay makes it an outstanding alternative to Animated Bounce and the like. There are three challenging AI players if you can't find a friend, or just feel like watching AI play AI, but the real fun is as always, with two human players. The possible tactics are surprising, and with some fast action you can end up with frantic battles for a single point. Whether you just want to pass some time or have a quick game with a friend, Blobby Volley is a cut above the rest. And at under one meg you can't go wrong!

We used this game at our local LAN-Party to decide any draws in Call of Duty / UT2004 / Quake 3 matches. 10/10 would Blob again.

You wouldn't believe how much fun this game had provided me and my friends after a long day of doing a project for school! It happened some ten years ago. We spent the whole afternoon finishing a long project, writing as much as we could to fill up our boring paper that I don't even remember what it was about, if it even was a paper that we were doing! Anyway, when we finished it, we just sat around, not knowing what else to do, talking through the evening, until we come up with the idea of playing a video game. But I didn't have anything installed for us to play (maybe it was bad planning on my part), however, I remembered my brother had a CD with pre-downloaded games we could play that he didn't use anymore. Inside that CD lied this game. It was the only one we could play multiplayer. And heck! Multiplayer indeed we played! It was such a fun time! So much so that we improvised little tournaments among ourselves! I honestly didn't expect any of my friends to enjoy it as much as I used to do! Maybe they were being ironic in the beginning, but I'm sure they softened up enough to be able to enjoy it. I wish I could relive that moment in time once again...
If you can, get a group of friends together, maybe some drinks and download this gem for some cheap and easy fun times! Maybe get the sequel though, since it has some improvements over this one.
